  1. Cetus FloppyWord Word Processor is a floppy-only
  2. implementation of the Windows 95 WordPad application
  3. that is provided as an accessory with the Windows 95
  4. operating system. FloppyWord provides all of the
  5. functionality of WordPad, as well as a spell checking
  6. function and a more complete Help file, but is restricted
  7. to use with document files on either the A: or B: drive.

  9. FloppyWord will not open files from a hard drive, nor will it
  10. save files to a hard drive. FloppyWord is intended to be
  11. used as a restrictive replacement for a "normal" word
  12. processor (such as WordPad), whenever it is desired to
  13. restrict users of a Windows 95 PC from opening files from,
  14. or saving files to, a hard drive.

  16. FloppyWord is being provided for any Windows 95 user
  17. who, for security reasons, has a need for its restrictive
  18. functionality. We at Cetus Software (creator of Windows
  19. security software products) have found that users at many
  20. institutions, particularly schools, have expressed a need
  21. for a product such as FloppyWord, to allow the use of a
  22. word processor that does not read from or write to a PC's
  23. hard drive. Because of this, FloppyWord is being provided
  24. as freeware by Cetus Software.

  26. If you would like to try another Cetus-enhanced version of
  27. WordPad, one that does include the extra spell checking
  28. function, but does not feature the floppy-only restrictions of
  29. FloppyWord, then you should obtain a freeware copy of
  30. Cetus CWordPad.
